According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, Mohammad Saeed Abadi in trampoline, Fereshteh Eghtedari in squash and Ali Vaeze in fencing with two team and individual quotas as athletes, Somayeh Cheraghi and Mahan Bazrang as head coaches of the national trampoline team, Majid Khobiyaari as an international referee and Ali Ketabforoush as a member of the squash competition jury, are the representatives of Kish Island in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s sports delegation at the 2026 Asian Games.

The presence of these seven representatives in one of the most important sporting events of the Asian continent reflects Kish sports’ capacity in the fields of championship, coaching, refereeing and competition management and is the result of the continuous efforts of the island’s athletes and sports activists.

In this regard and by order of the CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization, a guideline for honoring sports champions and paying rewards to Kish medalists has been drafted and implemented for the first time.

This guideline has been drafted with the aim of supporting athletes who bring honor to Kish Island in national and international competitions and according to it, Kish medalists will henceforth be honored and receive rewards.

The implementation of this guideline has realized one of the demands of the island’s sports community and provides the groundwork for systematic support of Kish champions and medalists.
