According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, a meeting to review the performance of Kish Investment and Development Company was held with the presence of Mohammad Kabiri, CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization, the organization’s deputies and managers, and the managers of Kish Investment and Development Company.

In this meeting, the CEO and deputies of Kish Investment and Development Company, while presenting a report on the company’s performance, the programs underway and the latest status of the projects, explained the obstacles and issues affecting the implementation process of the company’s plans.

Mohammad Kabiri, during the review of this report, emphasized the necessity for investment programs to have a clear and sustainable executive framework and said: investment programs should not be limited to one managerial term; also the implementation process of these programs must be designed in such a clear and sustainable way that changes of managers do not cause their execution to stop and no plan remains unfinished.

Referring to the necessity of continuous follow-up of issues until results are achieved, he added: no issue should remain unresolved and the responsible managers are obliged to continue the necessary follow-ups until the obstacles are completely removed and the project is completed.

In another part of this meeting, the executive obstacles of the projects of Kish Investment and Development Company were examined on a case-by-case basis. The CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization pursued some of the obstacles raised in that same meeting and assigned the responsibility for addressing other matters to the relevant deputies so that the results of the actions taken would be presented within the specified timeframe.

At the end of these reviews, a specific timetable was determined for the projects under implementation by Kish Investment and Development Company, and the responsibility for following up each of the matters was delegated to the relevant departments.

Process Reforms Aimed at Facilitating Service Delivery

Mohammad Kabiri, on the sidelines of this meeting, referring to the implementation of the project to review the projects and processes of the Kish Free Zone Organization and its affiliated companies, said: this project has been launched with the aim of reviewing and reforming the processes of providing services to Kish residents, business owners and tourists so that the obstacles applicants encounter when referring to the various departments of the organization and its affiliated companies are identified and removed.

He continued, stating that the existence of bureaucracy in some departments has lengthened the process of receiving services: the implementation of the process reform project began more than six months ago and efforts are made so that external factors and issues do not disrupt the order of implementation of the projects defined over the past 18 months in the organization and its affiliated companies, and the necessary reforms must also be carried out according to a schedule and within a specified timeframe.

The CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization considered increasing the satisfaction of Kish residents and business owners with the manner of service delivery by the organization and its affiliated companies as one of the main goals of this project and emphasized that process reforms should lead to facilitating investors’ affairs, accelerating project implementation and improving the everyday services needed by Kish residents.

Kabiri, referring to the progress of this project, added: so far, process review meetings have been held at the Kish Development, Water and Services Company and some departments of the organization. The meeting to review the performance of Kish Investment and Development Company was also held with the aim of identifying obstacles, reforming processes and accelerating the company’s fulfillment of its commitments.

He expressed hope that by continuing performance review meetings and the regular follow-up of approvals, the fulfillment of commitments by the Kish Free Zone Organization and its affiliated companies toward the people and stakeholders would be accelerated and that sustainable process reforms would lead to improved quality and speed of service delivery.
