According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, during last week, a total of 4,834 passengers and vehicle occupants traveled via passenger vessels and landing craft on the sea routes of Kish Island and the Chark and Aftab ports; of these, 1,809 were arriving passengers and 3,025 were departing.
In this period, 105 trips were made by vehicle-carrying vessels (landing craft), during which 826 vehicles were moved; of these, 277 vehicles entered Kish Island and 549 vehicles left the island. Also during the same period, 831 vehicle occupants were moved on the inbound route and 1,647 occupants on the outbound route by these vessels.
In the fast passenger vessel sector, 96 sea trips (48 arrivals and 48 departures) were made, during which 2,356 passengers were transported; of these, 978 were arriving passengers and 1,378 were departing passengers.
With the continuation of summer travel, Kish ports and the maritime fleet active on the Kish, Chark and Aftab routes, using their operational capacities, continue to provide services to passengers and vehicle transport continuously.
